I got asked by a parent at my son's high school, St Thomas High School, to make a little sweater for a teddy bear for a silent auction.  So I designed a gray sweater with the school's red and white STH logo right in the middle.  And surprise, surprise - it worked out nicely.  I should say (for those of you with children), this is a weekend project.  Front and Back - 3-4 hours each, Sleeves (both) - 1.5 hour, Finishing -1.5 hour, Collar - 20 minutes.  Blocking - well, there is the big "who, knows?"  I did mine overnight.  I am happy to send the pattern to whoever asks :-)  It fits a bear with a 22" head and come with a graph that you can customize with your own personalized intarsia.

Happy New Blog!!  I am so looking forward to trying to learn to blog - so much good is going on in my little knitting world and I actually think I have something to share.  I guess you will tell me if I am right :-)

One reason for this blog - setting goals (that's me) with accountability (that's you).

1.  Finish my UFOs  (yeah, yeah.... but I will give it my best shot!!)
2.  Stash reduction  (OK, get up from the floor.... it's not that funny!!)
3.  Organize my needles (Ha - already have done that ... and already messed up)
4.  Be grateful for this gift of enjoying needlework and the relaxation that it brings me
5. Be eternally grateful that family, friends and co-workers tolerate, understand and encourage this hobby of mine.  I am so blessed.
