I published my first design on Ravelry, which required me to declare myself as a "Designer". To do this act I had to consider:
- "lying" publicly with my real name, rather than my nom de plume, by claiming designer status
- on Palm Sunday
- with a pattern that I wrote for a Catholic school
So, checking my non-existent self confidence at the door, I sucked it up and registered as a Designer. And the Ravelry Dieties did not laugh in my face - phew!!!! So my little teddy bear sweater has now made me a designer - all without going to Confession.
Now the pressure is on - what's next?
Gonna be some lace - already thinking - already plotting - already scheming!!!!!
You know - give a girl a design site, create a monster :-)
